Superior Court of Alameda County Impacted by Global Tech Outage Expect delays as Court works to reboot case management systems.

Oakland, Calif. – July 19, 2024 – The global technology outage impacting computer operating systems throughout the world is also affecting computer systems at the Court as our two primary case management systems and dozens of computers either did not work or had limited capabilities.

The Court will remain open and anyone with a scheduled appearance must still attend court.

“We are diligently working to repair our systems,” Presiding Judge Thomas Nixon said. “Our dedicated staff from our office of information technology to our clerks will continue to ensure our community has access to the Courts.”

Anyone utilizing the Court today is asked to have patience and expect delays.
